i think you should be able to edit/delete your posts once you submit them like on other forum sites. i think you should also have the ability to add polls in your posts.
as for editing posts, you can preview them, and if somethings wrong you can correct it.
as far as removing posts go, i think it messes up the system or something, or at least that's what i understand.
poles in posts.... maybe, it would kind of be cool (and probably coded very easily). a lot of topics don't reaquire a pole response though, so not sure what the admins will think of that
Well here's another suggestion while on this topic. Why not make it to where it automatically allows you to preview your post even after hitting the "post reply" button. You could have a on and off switch for this under your account settings. This will help those who seem to forget about checking the preview box before hand... like me for example. LOL
also I'm sure those who do use alot tend to somehow hit the Post Reply button by accident also, so this could be another big help if it can indeed be accomplisged.
Polls... Yea that's a good idea, I like that one.
you can edit posts? please tell me how, I woud like to change a couple of my wordings in two of my word games. thanks I am a premium member had seen that check box.
brian, the messages have been posted, so no..... you can't change them
but for the future, just check the preview box, and you can correct what ever it is that's not right. i do like the idea you had chris, maybe it could happen
okay so from what i've read in the kb and other places, i don't think the editing and deleting thing would go down well with the admins. but i still think the polls feature would be nice to have, even if it was a premium only thing which it would most likely be.
deleting would be all messed up, but before you post something eddit it. It's easy to create polls, just write a board topic or something.
I never can figure out why they don't have edit/delete functions on here. I mean, on any other forum site they do, so why not here. If cl's can edit and delete posts, why not us. I don't claim to be an expert on databases and things, but just think about it.
